Appearance is everything—and at Elite, it’s our job to make sure your floors are not only clean and sanitary, but that they make a statement about your facility. We specialize in cleaning and restoring many types of flooring, including natural stone, engineered stone, terrazzo, decorative concrete, VCT, tile, ceramic, hardwood, laminates and carpet.
Our technicians are trained in floor care techniques, such as scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, tile and grout cleaning, sealing and coloring. In every case, we perform our work to the exacting standards of each surface.
Natural Stone-Marble, Granite, Limestone, Travertine, Slate and Onyx
The intrinsic beauty of natural stone surfaces are unmatched by engineered products. The variation and unique characteristics of these stones require regular maintenance and preventive care to protect and bring out the best in each surface. Elite has many years of experience working with marble, granite, limestone, travertine, slate, onyx and more. We will work with you to proactively develop a maintenance and restoration schedule to sustain the appearance of these surfaces at your properties.
However, there’s more to the surface than just stone; the condition and cleanliness of the grout that separates each stone can affect the beauty of the overall surface. That’s why Elite provides special grout maintenance, cleaning, re-grouting, sealing and coloring services to ensure the entire surface continues looking its best.
Engineered Stone, Terrazzo and Decorative Concrete Surfaces
Engineered stone and terrazzo are composite materials made of marble, quartz, granite, glass or crushed stone bound together by cement or polymer resins. These surfaces can be used for various applications including floors, counters, and wall treatments. Engineered stone surfaces have gained popularity as they exhibit similar visual and performance characteristics as quartz products and sealed natural stone. At Elite, we treat these surfaces regularly to sustain their fit, function and finish to exacting manufacturers’ standards.
Hardwood Restoration and Resurfacing
Hardwood and sustainable laminate flooring commonly evoke feelings of comfort and serenity, making them well-suited for diverse applications in commercial public spaces. The softer, natural surfaces require regular care and maintenance to sustain their function and beauty. Elite performs resurfacing by means of sanding to smooth the natural unevenness of the wood and resolve movement in the subfloor, while simultaneously rejuvenating appearance. Sanding using successively finer grades of sandpaper ensures even stain penetration while eliminating abrasions, scratches, and gouges. Staining and application of clear coat polyurethanes, oils and waxes are performed to the exacting standards of the manufacturer and hardwood species to provide long-lasting beauty.
Elite craftsmen employ tested and proven methods for hardwood restoration coupled with strict attention to detail. In the hardwood restoration business, the carpenter’s golden rule drives everything we do – measure twice and cut once. “Outstanding” is our common result.
Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT)
VCT is an economical alternative to expensive natural stone surfaces for high-traffic commercial and institutional applications. Vinyl tiles have high resistance to abrasion and impact damage and can be repeatedly refinished with chemical strippers and mechanical buffing equipment. Vinyl tile requires polishing for protection, ease of maintenance and an attractive overall appearance. Elite has extensive experience with many of the leading VCT manufacturers’ products and executes countless VCT floor care projects for our customers, resurfacing more than one million square feet annually.
Carpet cleaning removes stains, dirt and allergens, leading to carpets that are more visually pleasing, longer-lasting, and healthier than poorly-maintained floors. Elite specializes in innovative carpet care methods based on extraction, bonnet and dry methods to restore the beauty of carpets. Encapsulation and other green technologies are employed as both efficient and effective, while leading to less re-soiling than prior methods. We also apply deodorizers and protective coatings to keep carpets looking and smelling good as new.
